Holiday type:
Divundu Region
Places to Visit:  Poppa Falls (rapids) ,  Mahango National Park and the "Buffalo Core Area" Park.
Most lodges do boat trips to see the falls, and sundowner cruises on the Okavango River.
Game (nature) Drives into the Mahango Park are also among the listed activities, as is fishing at certain lodges and camps.
Birding through the region is excellent everywhere.
Divundu is the little town where you cross the Okavango River to enter the Bwabwata National Park.  Make sure to get fuel at Divundu (old name Bagani) as there are many kilometers to the next filling station or back to Rundu.  Divundu lies 200km east of Rundu, and 200km west of Kongola.  Most lodges and camps are along the river going South from Divundu en route to Botswana.  The border can be crossed into Botswana at the Shakawe Border Post (open sunrise to sunset), the road going down to the Okavango Delta and Maun.
